🧭 Background

Software Developer with over 4+ years of experience in programming and
co-creating: Desktop, Mobile, VR, AR - applications & simulations.
As part of various teams, I was responsible for building projects both from scratch to production, delivery and maintenance, as well as expanding and optimizing an existing code base.Clients and companies I have worked with, faced variety of product needs, that posed different technical and organizational challenges. I'm looking forward to further opportunities of cooperation and building new projects.

Technical Skills:

Unity Skills:

Some of the Packages (I have used):

Odin Inspector, Doozy UI, World Streamer, Custom Occlusion, Enviro,
A* Pathfinding, TriLib, MVVM Framework, TensorFlow, Photon, Zenject

💼 Experience (2014 - 2024)

🔨 Commercial Projects:

(Sorted according to implementation complexity)

Face Print (Purple Scout)

  • Developed a desktop, data-driven, UI (uGUI) based CMS - connected to an online database.

  • Created a tool for rendering, texturing and modifying (with blendshapes) - an ML based 3D model of facial prostheses, merged with a face scan.

  • I was responsible for multiple stages of front-end code development: from architecture, UI, to database communication using RESTful API calls.

  • Created a mobile AR app with a face tracking (ARCore) feature.

  • Worked as a team, with a developer, graphic and UX designer - researching and deciding on design decisions, usability and details of the features.

This cloud-based software allows doctors to make detailed changes, perfecting the result of the biocompatible prosthesis. The software uses machine learning, based on imaging data, to produce a 3D model of the prosthesis that matches the patient based on age and ethnicity.

Military Simulator (Autocomp)

  • Expanded the existing code base of the military simulator and introduced new features, both in UI and 3D environment.

  • Developed an editor tool to verify the assets and files of the projects, according to their specification - eg. textures (format, ^2 dimensions), coherence of names and more.

  • Implemented a 3rd party A* AI pathfinding algorithm and expanded its components for both motorized and humanoid units.

SpellFire - Pora Ora (Caped Koala)

  • Expanded two multiplayer, network games (part of larger PoraOra series).

  • Built a letters grid word analyzer (like Wordle) using word searching graph algorithm, that filters words occurrence based on different dictionaries.

  • Created an editor tool to pre-build generated sets of letters with a controlled amount of words to be found (with varying difficulty, excluding obscenities).

  • Worked in a team, with graphic designers, a tester and other programmers - on shared pieces of code and common functionalities.

  • Compiled iOS builds and debugged the game on the target platform.

Spellfire - find as many words as you can to charge up your energy, then blast and block your way to the title of Spellfire Champion! You'll need speed, skill and spellings galore to win this battle.

Winter Garden VR (Pirx Lab, Sonne Am Haus)

  • Together with my business partner, we developed a realistic sales application of a winter garden construction (HTC Vive, RESTful API).

  • Implemented a simple 3rd party weather system and rain drop effects.

  • Profiled and optimized the simulation for a smooth VR experience.

  • Created an accompanying, networked, UI based remote controller - iOS app.

The application allows the user to experience visualizations of winter gardens, customize and view them in VR. To make the experience as close to reality as possible, users can interact with all moving parts, such as windows or doors. They can also edit the exterior of the building or change the weather. Some content can be dynamically updated by the client as the 3D models are synchronized with a database, controlled with a simple web interface.
(2 applications: for PC and auxiliary for a tablet).

Galaxy Mall Interactive Installation (Pirx Lab, Echo)

  • Researched the technical options and translated a general idea into concrete design specification.

  • Developed software and hardware prototypes (with Kinect devices, projectors and different screens) to experiment with possible solutions.

  • Maintained and serviced the installation, both remotely and on-site, using previously chosen communication setup (with different limitations in mind).

For Echo Investment, an interactive installation in the Galaxy shopping center in Szczecin, on 2 levels, for 4 computers. I used Kinects, infrared touch panels and
2 projectors to create a game and a photo booth (with download functionality).

Automobile VR (Pirx Lab, Mercedes)

A sales app - 3D visualization of the latest car model.

And more (white-labels, etc.)

Multiple VR, AR, 3D, UI based applications for mobile phones and other devices:
Wartsila CMS, Zespri VR, Widex AR, Horreby Lyng, Rabobank WoonBox, and more.

💡 Non Commercial Projects:

Rodie - Interactive Fighting Robot (2015)

Rodie - an electronic toy robot. I have been creating this project together with my long time friend. We have managed to create a fully functional prototype, but failed to turn it into a commercial product or a successful business.

  • Planned multiplayer gameplay modes and a network architecture.

  • Implemented a controller app for the mobile platforms (iOS, Android).

  • Utilized the BLE connection protocols and designed custom hardware, based on the Arduino platform (modules used: NRF24L01, IR).

  • Programmed the software of the robot in C and Arduino IDE.

Rodie - a gaming robot toy with a variety of gameplay modes.
It brings online gaming, known from multiplayer shooters - into the reality.
Rodie fulfills the need of play and competition between children in the real world. Acquiring new elements (weapons and bonuses) brings new features to mobile application, like new powerups or more effective shooting.
